This winter, we have a number of rebates to help you reduce carbon emissions while offering you significant savings.

Below are our current rebate programs:

Switch to an EV and receive a rebate

For a limited time, make the switch to your first new all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle and receive a rebate from us. If you purchase your first EV between October 1 and December 31, you can get a $1,000 rebate for a full-battery EV, or a $700 rebate for a plug-in hybrid.

Used EV rebate

Income-qualifying San Mateo County residents can purchase a used EV and receive up to $4,000 in rebates.

Because the electricity you receive from us is 95% carbon-free, charging your EV reduces transportation-related carbon emissions, the single largest source of emissions, in San Mateo County.

Experience an EV for free

We have many opportunities for you to experience an EV. You can rent an EV for a few days and receive a $200 rebate or get assistance in setting up at-home or at-dealership test drives.

If you have questions about EVs, contact our EV Hotline or Live Chat  service.

Up to $1,250 rebate on solar panels + battery backup system

We are helping residents maintain electricity during outages and build electricity grid storage by providing incentives and rebates for the installation of solar + battery storage systems. You may qualify for up to $1,250 in rebates.

Small business $250 bill credit

The deadline is approaching for qualified small business customers to receive a $250 electricity bill credit from us. The credit is limited to the first 6,000 customers who apply by November 30, 2020.
