Peninsula Clean Energy, the official electricity provider for San Mateo County and the City of Los Banos, offers cleaner electricity than PG&E—and at lower rates. Most of our customers are automatically enrolled in ECOplus service, which costs less than PG&E, is 50% renewable and 100% clean energy.

The charge for Peninsula Clean Energy electricity generation appears on your PG&E bill. You also receive a credit from PG&E on your bill since you are no longer using electricity generated by them.
