E-Bike Rebate Program Update
Our E-Bike Rebate program is temporarily paused while we transition to a new system. We will not be accepting new applications during the pause. We expect to relaunch in August 2026.
This pause will help us continue providing a high level of customer service without disruption.

We anticipate this program will relaunch in August 2026.
Fill out an interest form here to receive an email notification before the relaunch.
Yes, unfortunately you will need to wait until the new program launches again to reapply.
We recommend you fill out our interest form online here.
We will email all the customers before the re-launch so you can be prepared.
The pause doesn’t impact customers who have already been approved. If you already have an approved voucher, you will still be able to complete your purchases and receive rebates within 60 days of application approval, as normal.
However, you will need to make sure to purchase your bikes within those 60 days. PCE cannot grant extensions at this time.
If the rebate expires, you will need to wait a year to apply again.
We will email all the customers before the re-launch so you can be prepared.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide any more extensions as we switch over to our new system.
You will need to wait one year before you can apply again.
To ensure the best chance that your application is approved when the program relaunches, we highly recommend you look at the first page of your PG&E bill.
This bill will show if you enrolled in the CARE or FERA program. It also shows you if you are enrolled in Peninsula Clean Energy.
These will need to be on your PG&E bill before you apply for the e-bike rebate, so we suggest you check now.
You can see a sample bill here.
If you need help enrolling in CARE/FERA, or to become a Peninsula Clean Energy customer, you can reach us at [email protected] or call us at (866) 966-0110
FAQs: General Information about the E-Bike Program
Applicants must provide a valid, government-issued photo ID (for example: a driver’s license, passport, green card, military ID, foreign ID)
If the address on your ID matches the address listed on your e-bike application, no additional documentation is required.
If the address on your ID does not match the address on your application, you must provide an additional document as proof of residency (for example: utility bills, bank or credit card statements, leases, employment letters, USPS documentation, insurance or tax documents).
Please ensure all documents are current and clearly legible.
Our rebate provides up to $1,000 or the maximum price of your e-bike, whichever is less. For example: if your e-bike is $900, your PCE rebate will be $900.
If you are stacking this rebate with another rebate, use the other rebate first. Then you can use the PCE rebate towards the remaining balance.
Due to overwhelming demand, at this time you may only receive one rebate per address for the life of this program.
Yes, you can! As long as the address listed in the application is enrolled in CARE or FERA and you can provide proof that you live in that address, you are eligible.
Enrollment in CARE or FERA is required when you apply for the PCE E-Bike Rebate.
CARE or FERA must appear on page 1 of your PG&E bill at the time of application, or your rebate will be denied.
If you’re not enrolled, apply for CARE or FERA and wait one month until it appears on page 1 of your PG&E bill before submitting your rebate application.
For help enrolling, contact El Concilio or Senior Coastsiders. El Concilio also offers support in Spanish.
Enrollment in CARE or FERA is a requirement for the PCE E-Bike Rebate.
If you have an extenuating circumstance that prevents you from applying to CARE or FERA, please contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone at (866) 966-0110 so we can discuss your situation.
