Sales and use of electric vehicles (EV) are growing rapidly in San Mateo County but planning for EV charging can be a daunting task for apartment managers and owners. Peninsula Clean Energy wants to make it easier for multifamily properties owners to become EV-ready for their tenants.
PCE is offering technical assistance, including free site electrical assessments, guidance on apartment policies and linkages to existing resources for EV charger installations. The Easy Charge Apartments program will guide you to prepare your properties for the growing demand for EV-ready homes. The program is designed to help you:
- Know how many spaces for charging will be available
- Know the cost of providing charging infrastructure on the property
- Know how the property intends to administrate the charging program
If you would like to learn more about installing EV charging stations and how to take advantage of PCE’s free consulting, attend our workshop:
Tuesday, July 10th
2075 Woodside Road, Redwood City, CA
