Partners for School Engagement and Energy Education

Eligible organizations must meet one of the following criteria:

• Public agencies that serve the entirety of San Mateo County or the city of Los Banos
• Nonprofit organizations working in existing formal partnership with a public agency on education
  programs that serve the entirety of San Mateo County or the city of Los Banos

Proposals must be received on or before the above deadline and submittal must be by email to [email protected] with the subject “Proposal - <Vendor Name> - Energy Education”

Evaluation will be based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative criteria. The criteria used as a guideline in the evaluation will include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. Qualifications and experience of the entity, including capability and experience of key personnel and experience with other public and/or private agencies to provide these services
2. A clear and comprehensive understanding of the Scope of Work and proposals for advancing energy education, including providing quantifiable goals for success for each activity
3. Proposed approach, including a clearly demonstrated understanding of PCE’s needs, audiences, and scope of work
4. Scale of educational outcomes and ability to maximize the number of students engaged cost-effectively
5. A proposed budget detailing estimated costs for each educational activity, for the primary services described by this RFP
6. Examples of previous work demonstrating experience in energy education
7. PCE may, at its sole discretion, chose all or a subset of activities proposed by bidders, to be finalized during contracting
8. Existence of and circumstances surrounding any claims and violations against you or your organization
9. PCE may make multiple awards for this RFP
