Small Business Bill Credit

We recognize that many small businesses throughout San Mateo County have been struggling financially since ‘Shelter-in-Place’ orders first began in March of this year. To support local economic recovery from COVID-19, we are offering a $250 credit on electricity bills for qualifying small business customers.

Qualifying small business customers will receive a letter in the mail from us informing you of your eligibility with instructions on how to complete the application for the bill credit. The letter will include a unique ID to access the application. You should receive this letter by September 30, 2020.

Bill credits are limited to the first 6,000 respondents. Please complete the online application as soon as possible, no later than November 30, 2020.

Upon validation that your application is complete, a $250 bill credit will be issued on the Peninsula Clean Energy portion of your bill within the next 1-2 months.

In order to receive the $250 bill credit, you must:

be on an A1, B1, A6, or B6 electricity rate plan (as noted on your PG&E/Peninsula Clean Energy electricity bill)

have a total of 2 or fewer electricity accounts, where the second account is not a large electric service

If you haven’t received your letter and believe you meet the qualifications, please contact us at
