Inflation Reduction Act rebates and tax credits
The recently passed Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) can provide thousands of dollars in rebates and tax credits to help homeowners switch from methane gas and other fossil-fuels to electricity and improve energy efficiency. Switching to electric appliances and becoming more energy efficient can improve your indoor air quality, help the environment, and reduce your energy bills. IRA incentives can help with the following:
- Heat pump for space heating and cooling
- Heat pump water heater for water heating
- Weatherization, insulation, and electrical panel upgrades
- Induction stove
- Electric clothes dryer
